MSc Funding --- Modelling, Reasoning and the Semantic Web
Applications are invited from students interested in pursuing an MSc in Computer Science, at St. Francis Xavier University (Canada) under the direction of Dr. Wendy MacCaull, in the areas of (Workflow) Modelling and Model Checking, Ontology Development and Reasoning and the Semantic Web. Two students holding a BSc with an Honours in Computer Science or equivalent and are highly motivated to do research in the above areas are sought to join the group at the StFX Centre for Logic and Information (www.logic.stfx.ca) starting in Sept. 2013. Case studies for the research will focus on applications to health services delivery. Students will have the opportunity to interact with collaborators from the health care sector and work in a high performance computing environment.

Use MSc in CS 2013 as a subject heading. Funding to cover the cost of tuition and a living allowance will be provided to the successful candidates.
